2024 Miami Grand Prix Pop-Ups & Watch Parties

Want to experience the excitement of the 2024 Miami Grand Prix without buying expensive tickets to the track?

Here are all of the events that I’m keeping an eye on as I plan my trip to Miami for this 2024 Miami GP.

Williams Racing Fan Zone

Location: 700 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Dates: April 29 – May 5 (see Williams Racing event site for opening times)

Williams driver Logan Sargeant is the only American on the grid (although who knows for how much longer), so it makes sense that Williams pays great attention to growing their US fanbase.

You can expect to see a show car, multiple simulators, lots of F1 merch & sponsors’ prizes, and Q&A sessions with Williams Racing team personnel (including their drivers).

After attending a couple of their events in the past, this is a pop-up event that I plan on going out of my way to see. Who knows, you might snag some sweet swag (like the pre-USGP club party tickets they handed us in 2022 for buying some merch).

Racing Fan Fest

Location: 2250 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127
Dates: May 2 – May 5 (see Racing Fan Fest site for opening times)

Racing Fan Fest will be taking over the Wynwood Marketplace again to put on the largest off-track fan experience around the Miami GP.

This is where you will find Red Bulls’ fan zone featuring Red Bull’s & VCARB show cars along with multiple racing simulators. You will also find no shortage of food vendors and sponsor activation tents as well as live music and even pickleball courts.

Not every pop-up is authorized to actually show the F1 race, but Racing Fan Fest was one of the few who had a live stream last year.

Jack’s Garage: Miami

Location: 3333 NW 6th Ave, Miami, FL 33127
Date: May 4 (RSVP link)

Whiskey giant Jack Daniel’s is teaming up with McLaren Racing and Universal Music Group to kick off a series of pop-up concerts that follow the F1 calendar.

The first event will take place on Saturday, May 4, with performances by Chris Jedi and Gaby Music at The Carter Project.

Cinco de Mayo Heineken Race Viewing Party at The Plaza

Location: 2901 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Coral Gables, FL 33134
Date: May 5 (RSVP link)

If you want to add a Cinco de Mayo flair to your F1 experience, The Plaza in Coral Gables is hosting Heineken’s Miami GP watch party this weekend. It’s a little further from the action, but it may be a good option if you want to avoid some of the more crowded events.

Festivities begin at 1pm with food & music, and admission is free (though you can upgrade your ticket with a $25 all-you-can-drink Heineken package). After the race, you can stick around for a tequila tasting as the sun sets.

Final Thoughts

Whether you spend your weekend at the Miami Internationale Autodrome (aka the parking lots around Hard Rock Stadium) or hopping around off-track events, you are bound to find plenty of F1-related activities.

Keep in mind that not all pop-up events have the broadcast rights to stream the racing action: I learned this the hard way when we had to watch the race on our phones at the Mercedes pop-up event on South Beach.

I plan on flying into Miami to attend Saturday’s F1 Sprint & qualifying sessions (as well as the first F1 Academy race), but I have a feeling we’ll opt to watch Sunday’s race from an off-track watch party to save a little cash.

Did I miss any other events? Will you be attending the 2024 Miami Grand Prix? Let me know in the comments!
