About

My name is Connor and I have been travel hacking with credit card points & miles since 2014. I officially joined the airline industry in 2015 and have since taken over 500 standby flights all over the globe.

Every new airline employee wants to find out how to maximize their non-rev travel perks, so I decided to publicly journal my tips & tricks for traveling often.  Standby With Me is a resource for non-rev travelers and frequent flyers who want to make the most out of every trip. I built this website to archive my travel tips, gear guides, packing advice, and trip reports to help fellow standby passengers & aviation enthusiasts.

The more I travel, the more I realize that traveling to far-flung destinations isn’t the only way to experience something magical. I love collecting passport stamps as much as the next non-rev, but I make it a point to highlight domestic locations that sometimes get overlooked.

The travel community is a wonderful & supportive tribe of people, and I love connecting with other travelers. Feel free to drop a comment or connect with me on Twitter (@StandbyWithMe), Instagram (@_StandbyWithMe), or via email ([email protected]).
